The tower’s mysteries

The last bottle from King Henry IV personal collection and signed by the hand of Michel de Montaigne during his visit to Château Castera in 1584 is carefully preserved in its mysterious medieval tower. Rumors say that the wine’s qualities go beyond all hope and desire: an intense color, delicate aromas and an incomparable structure. This wine has no equal, many already have tried to steal it but none of them ever have succeed.

You have 1 hour to foil the tower’s traps, find this bottle, before escape to fully enjoy the nectar.

Teamwork and skill will be the key words for success.

Picnic at the Estate

From May to end of September

Before or after the visit and/or your activity at the Château, share a friendly moment and enjoy the tranquility of the park around a gourmet picnic.

Please : Come to the reception of the Château between noon and 1.00pm

Contents of the picnic basket for 2 people: Chiffonade of Serrano ham 36 months, butter and slices of melon – 1 large summer salad – 12 chicken sleeves- 2  packets of crisps – 1 baguette – sliced cheese – 2 seasonal fruits salads – 2 bottles of water 50 cl – coffee – 1 half-bottle of Château Castera.

For children under 12 : summer salad – 4 chicken sleeves – 1 packet of crisps – 1 madeleine type cake – 1 compote to drink and 1 orange juice carton.
