Château Doisy Daëne

La dégustation était sympathique, on a pu découvrir des informations intéressantes sur l\'histoire de la famille propriétaire. Une fois de plus en toute intimité, on s\'est senti privilégié.

Overall a good tasting and nice introduction to Ch Doisy Daëne. However, we booked a “tour with the owner” well in advance only to be told it wasn’t convenient, so from that perspective the visit was disappointing. Wine is good though.

Bonjour Nous avons été un peu déçus de ne pas rencontrer M. Dubourdieu et qu il n y ait pas de visite à proprement parler avec des explications techniques sur la culture du raisin et la vinification. Nous nous attendions à une visite de cave ou de vignoble avec des explications et pas seulement à une dégustation. Mais nous avons été très bien reçus par Agnès qui s\'est occupée de nous faire deguster les vins blancs du domaine comme nous l\'avions demandé lors de la réservation. Et nous avons été très heureux de cette dégustation car nous sommes amateurs de blancs mais ne connaissions pas ceux de la région. Tous les vins que nous avons dégusté avaient un magnifique bouquet et un bel équilibre.

Un très bel accueil ! Le groupe a apprécié la visite et vos vins. Un grand merci pour votre disponibilité et votre souplesse. Xavier

We admire your commitment to your estate, the vineyards and the wine making profession and the outstanding quality! The dry white wine was new to us and a true revelation! The owner was very engaging, obviously knowledgeable and was a delight to meet. Of all the 5 visits to properties we made this was the highlight. I could not recommend the visit or the wines tasted more highly.

Under the circumstances of the death of the former owner barely two weeks ago our visit was remarkable as the two sons took the time to give us a tour of both the sweet white and red wine estates along with fabulous explanations and great hospitality. A bargain and again we will definitely return.

Simply Extraordinary....I feel very blessed to have met Mr. Fabrice Dubourdieu. His knowledge and passion is priceless...You can feel he and his family are part of the history of Bordeaux wines and more....The wines like Doisy Daene and other Estates are spectacular...Can´t wait a few more years to taste l´Extravagant....Very sorry to hear that Mr.Denis Dubourdieu passed away a few days after our visit. What a great loss.
