Dive into the heart of Domaine de Métifiot’s history and explore the terroir of the Alpilles and the Baux de Provence appellation through an immersive tour. We will welcome you on the panoramic terrace of our wine tasting cellar, offering a breathtaking view of our vineyard and the Mont Ventoux.
The tour will then continue with a visit of our winery, where we share our expertise and the secrets behind our wines. From conical vats to concrete tanks, as well as sandstone jars and oak barrels, we will unveil the tools and techniques that shape our wines excellence.
To enhance this experience, the tour will conclude with a tasting of 5 wines (white, rosé, red) along with our two olive oils. You will have the opportunity to discover our cuvées Les Essentiels – IGP Alpilles and Domaine de Métifiot – AOP Les Baux de Provence.

Immerse yourself in the elegance of our 100% collection, an invitation to taste the pure essence of single-varietal wines.
You will be welcomed with a guided tour of the Domaine, starting on the panoramic terrace of the tasting room, offering a stunning view of the vineyard and the Mont Ventoux. During this tour, you will learn about the Domaine’s history as well as the subtleties of the Alpilles terroir and the Baux de Provence appellation . The tour will then continue with a visit of our winery, where we share our expertise and the secrets behind our wines. From conical vats to concrete tanks, as well as sandstone jars and oak barrels, we will unveil the tools and techniques that shape our wines with excellence.
To complete this experience, taste our prestigious 100% collection, featuring two white wines and two red wines. Discover the richness of these exceptional wines, produced only when the vintage’s characteristics meet our utmost satisfaction, and savor their distinctive character.

Our history
Once upon a time, there was the Domaine de Métifiot, nestled at the heart of the northern slope of the Alpilles, in Saint-Rémy-de-Provence, just steps away from the historic site of Glanum. Its plots, maintained by the Lilamand family for four generations, have seen their use evolve over time.
Once used for grazing livestock and growing fruits, they later welcomed olive groves starting in the 1990s, before the first vines were planted in 2016. Today, vines and olive groves coexist harmoniously on these lands, cultivated according to the principles of organic agriculture and biodynamics.
As the latest addition to the Appellation des Baux de Provence, the Domaine built its cellar in 2019, adopting contemporary architecture that stands out for its aesthetic of patterned concrete.
From stainless steel vats to conical vats, from concrete vats to foudres, sandstone jars, and even demi-muids, each element contributes to crafting our wines with unparalleled quality and precision.
