Onze geschiedenis
Chateau Baudan is the beautiful story of rebirth. The vineyard has its origin in 1850, the year of creation of the property by Pierre Jumps to Listrac Médoc. His son Claude succeeds and develops the vineyard until his untimely death. The property then remains dormant for sixty years. In 1993 Alain Blasquez, great grand-son of Pierre Jumps career takes a turn and decides with his wife Sylvie boost Chateau Baudan A challenge. Chateau Baudan grows it is now a 30 8ha vineyard production. In June 2003 Chateau Baudan is classified Cru Bourgeois. The renaissance is successful !
The vines are planted on Chateau Baudan serious so-called “Baudan.” This is serious small sandy clay, original to Listrac and give the wine its personality. Chateau Baudan three varieties: Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Petit Verdot. Chateau Baudan is characterized by an elegant ruby, a fine tannins fruity (red fruit core) and a good mouthfeel. It goes with the talent red meat, stew, white meat decorated with mushrooms and cheese rind.

The tour was in French, because others showed up who didn't speak English and I translated for my husband - not a huge problem, as this wasn't the first tour, so he had a general idea of what he was seeing. They asked him if that was ok and he said yes.
Remarquable petite propriété, bien gérée vin excellent,responsables dynamiques,jeunes intélligents.
