In the heart of the Saint Emilion vineyard, Château Grand Barrail Lamarzelle Figeac has been owned by Vignobles Dourthe since 2005. In 1840, Dourthe became the owner of prestigious Châteaux. 8 estates concentrated in the region on different terroirs. Thanks to its commitment to quality and its wine-making expertise, Dourthe is recognised by professionals all over the world.
A sustainable approach and a reasoned agriculture is applied in all our Châteaux by working the vines in respect of the terroir and the vineyard. Our commitment to the environment was rewarded with the Terra Vitis and HVE 3 certifications in 2018.
Next to the famous Grands Crus Classés Château Figeac and Château Cheval Blanc, Château Grand Barrail Lamarzelle Figeac benefits from an exceptional terroir. Merlot reigns supreme to reveal its fullness and finesse thanks to clayey subsoils. 15 hectares of vineyard, the property has one of the first circular barrel cellars in the region.
Private tours and exceptional tailor-made tastings are available upon reservation in our tasting room.
On the property, the Cave Dourthe is at your disposal to welcome you and offer you a wide choice of wines from the Dourthe Vineyards, Grands Crus de Bordeaux carefully selected with rare vintages as well as Great Champagnes. Wine accessories and professional glassware are also presented.

Morgan gave us an exceptional tour giving us a thorough explanation of all the Bordeaux appellations. The wines were also very good.
Une excellente visite, avec de bons souvenirs. Nous commanderons du vin à la cave Dourthe à l'avenir.
Des amis du responsable des visites se sont joints à nous, donc nous étions un peu exclus des discussions (alors que j'avais le souvenir d'avoir pris une dégustation privée). À l'arrivée, l'homme était surpris que nous ayons une réservation...
Le producteur m'a indiqué ne plus être inscrit sur votre site et n'était pas au courant de notre venue
