Lunch - Picnic

Every day from Monday to Saturday, from april to September, we offer a guided visit of the estate at 11 am followed by the tasting of 2 of our wines and the distribution of pinic baskets between 12 and 12:30.
You will be able to taste LOUDENNE AOC Médoc,
LOUDENNE AOC white Bordeaux and LOUDENNE AOC Bordeaux rosé and local products of quality such as duck rillettes, foie gras and “medaillon landais” (composed for 50% of duck foie gras the other50% being duck and porc meat plus poultry liver egg, salt pepper and spices.) Goat or ewe milk cheese and of course a fresh baguette. A bottle of LOUDENNE wine-red or rosé- will be suggested to the gourmet to go with lunch.
In order to ensure the visitors a pleasant and comfortable moment we have placed picnic tables by the river and for those who wish to picnic in the grass, you will be offered a picnic cloth.
A digestive walk will also be proposed after the meal. There are signed paths to guide the visitors through the vineyard.
Discovering it through regional products is a wonderful way to give in to the beauty of the location.

Free Tour & Wine Tasting

You can go freely to the estate, without an appointment, from April until the end of September, from Monday to Saturday, from 10 a.m. to 1 pm and 2 pm to 6 p.m. Tastings of two wines will be offered.

We invite you to discover the marked walking tours in our vineyard, which will allow you to discover the history, the terroir and the commitment to the future: eco-responsible viticulture, in conversion to organic farming.

Wine tour and Tasting at Chateau Bellerive

Château Bellerive, this authentic vineyard of the Médoc, witness of a recognized know-how and an exceptional terroir seduces us with its family environment, its gravitational vat room of the XIX th century, small ovoid vats and its barrel cellar filled with charm.
In the end of March 2022, Château Loudenne becomes French again.
Sophie and Christophe Gouache, passionate about wines, have been already owners of Château Bellerive in Valeyrac when in 2022 they became owners of Château Loudenne, the symbol of glamour and modernity.
Henceforth Château Bellerive is a part of the Loudenne Gouache Vineyards.

Wine tasting will take you to the discovery of the subtle balance of the estate’s wines, which reflect the love of the owners, committed to an artisanal and reasoned approach, aiming to preserve the fauna and flora that shelters the Médoc terroir. Find here all the grape varieties of the Médoc and their history: Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Petit Verdot and Malbec.
Free visit and tasting from Wednesday to Friday at 11am (can be followed by a picnic), 2.30pm, 4pm and 5pm.

Prestigious Lunch, Wine & Food Pairing

During a prestigious tour you will be accompanied for a Private Visit of the Vineyard, which will be followed by a Food & Wine Pairing on the terrace of the chateau with an out-of-time view at the estuary of the Gironde river. You may also use the private lounge of the château.
A priveleged moment around a food and wine pairing selected and commented by a professional to discover the selected regional product paired with 4 Loudenne wines and Camus Cognac.
You will appreciate all the subtlety of our great growths. A unique moment in the heart of the tricentennial Pink chartreuse.

— Landes Medaillon (duck paté and 50% foie gras) and Loudenne Le Château 2014 AOC Bordeaux white

Ephemeral Table at Château Loudenne

New in the château harvesters’ dining room, an «Ephemeral Table» opens every Tuesday for lunch from April to the end of September, as well as Wednesdays in high season to offer visitors seasonal menus, combining the gourmet refinement of our historical recipes, the richness of the Médoc terroir and the know-how of our Chief Coock. A magnificent way to succumb to the beauty of the place by discovering them through local products.

You can book on our website a free tour and wine tasting before or after lunch.

A menu of the day of your choice, at a single price of 39 €, includes a starter, a main course and a dessert or cheese.
The wines of Loudenne Gouache Vineyards will be à la carte at the property price.
